Battle Baptist Church Staff Team ~ this pdf file chart may prove helpful Dennis Nolan leads the staff team. He worked for ten years in teaching before becoming full time Pastor at Battle. Over the years he has held different offices in the local Baptist Association and has also done Hospital Chaplaincy and part time Bible College teaching. Dennis enjoys working with younger leaders and preaching overseas as the opportunity arises. Andy Garlick is a Full Time Elder. His background has gifted him to oversee the management of change. He currently heads up children's work and is responsible for the 10.30 Claverham congregation. Mary Jones is the Office Manager.She has both creative and organisational gifts that keeps the rest of us reasonably well organised! Pat Nolan is a volunteer staff member, recognised by the Church as Coordinator for Evangelism which involves her in most church activities in one way or another. She leads the Parent, Baby and Toddler group and is active in teaching children & teenagers in our Sunday Club. John Southam works as Church Manager and is based at the Mount Street Chapel premises. He has a background in teaching, youth work and local politics. He works as "the oil in the engine" ~ trying to ensure everything across the church operates smoothly! He also leads one of our worship teams. Francis Willoughby is a part time Associate Minister and has the particular responsibility for the co-ordination of Pastoral Care.
