The brief given to the sub committee was to try and look at what might be the maximum development of the church site and how we might provide:

1. additional small meeting rooms.

2. a new prayer room - less able to be disturbed by noise and accessible 24/7 without needing to make access to the rest of the premises

3. refurbishment of the Manna house kitchen and toilets (& awareness that the boiler & carpet won't last for ever!)

 

There will be further meetings during 2008 when we can answer questions and discuss how we might meet the needs we have as a result of God's blessings and church growth. A special Church Meeting of the membership will be required before we decide to apply for planning permission or seek the finances required for any future development of our Mount Street premises.

 

You have been providing feedback to us on our plans, and we anticipate that the "new buildings" committee, having approached various architects, will be reporting to the next Church Meeting.
